I get the following "error message" when applying an IPv6 address to an interface on a CSR1000v (v 3.17.00.S):
%VXE_VNIC_IF-3-MSGINITERROR: VXE vNIC interface command: multicast_null failed: -1 for Loopback0

Is this to be expected and/or am I doing something wrong?

Here is the typical command I'm doing:
!
router(config)# int g1
router(config-if)# ipv add a:1::1/64
!

Then the above message will be generated. HOWEVER, this message only appears for the first IPv6 address being assigned within a VRF. If continuing the example I show above, if I were to go to interface G2 and add an IPv6 address the message doesn't appear again.
