I am a little confused about the licensing requirements for a multi-user VIRL environment. Natively, you can set VIRL up to accept multiple users accessing different simulations simultaneously, however I have seen on the forums that this is breaking the license agreement of one user per license. Why would VIRL open this functionality if not to be utilized in a multi-user environment?
What I would like to do is begin a training program, sponsored by my employer for employees wanting to expand their Cisco networking/security skills. This wont be a training program, more like a perk afforded by my employer. Can I purchase a license of VIRL for multiple-users? If I cannot do this with the 'personal' edition of VIRL, do I meet the requirements for the 'academic/research' version of VIRL that would allow this? Is there a requirement list I can look at to see if I qualify?
If anyone has had some experience with this please let me know. I really want to bring this great software to my team but cant afford CML.
Thanks.
