Hello,
I've been building a 4 node topology and i've noticed when I have 2 (or more) links between the nodes, the CPU is pegged @ 100% (88% kernel). As soon as I drop to a single link between nodes, the CPU drops to 0% - 3% utilization. Assuming this has something to do with spanning tree....
While I don't have a monster system (ESXi 5.5, single socket, quad core, 3Ghz with 32GB RAM), I would have thought this should be adequate for a conservative configuration of 4 nodes...
While I don't really need to have multiple links for my purposes, it would be nice to build this as close to the lab workbooks as I can...it already sucks I can't do LACP or vPCs....
Is this an expected behavior, or is there something I can do to prevent this?
Thanks!
Keith
