Hi,
I am trying VIRL in a public cloud provider.
proftbricks.deThey are providing datacenter in DE and also US and providing nested virtualisation
My question is:
Is it safe to run it in a public cloud?I mean not in general, if its safe to run a Linux server public available on the internet, but more specific,
which Ports do I need to connect from VM Maestro to the VIRL server,
and which user names I should change the default password?I understand so far:
User Interface:
1. Web Gui TCP:80 http
2. UWM GUI TCP:19400 (http)
3. AutonetKit Visualisation Config TCP:19401 (http)
4. AutonetKit Visualisation Live TCP:19402 (http)VM Maestro to VIRL Webservices:
- roaster
http://virl:19399/roster/rest TCP:19399 (http)- Simulation engine
http://virl:19399/simengine/rest TCP:19399 (http)- OpenStack
http://virl:19399/openstack/rest TCP:19399 (http)- AutonetKit
http://virl:19399/ank/rest TCP:19399 (http)Login User:
guest:guest
uwmadmin:passwordIs it possible to change to encrypted connections from VM Maestro to VIRL?
Is it enough to change passwords for user guest and uwmadmin?
What about the connection for the web services?
What about other services and their default passwords?
Are they available through the management interface?i.e. openstack, mysql, etc.....
Thanks
Marcel
