Hi everyone,
I have got strange error, when I'm trying to build up a lab topology.
Let assume very simple topology:Two switches SW-A and SW-B connected each other, and a router R-1 connected to both switches.
So we have a triangle R-1 connected to SW-A, SW-A connected to SW-B and SW-B connected to R-1.When I'm generating initial configs I see an warning message like this one:
WARNING There are multiple parallel edges (2) between vswitch1 and device R1. This may lead to unexpected protocol behavior. The warning message appears only when R-1 is IOSv or IOS XRv. When I switched it to IOSvL2 the generating initial config process doesn't show any warnings.
Please let me know how I can solve this issue?
PS1 - If feature set of IOSv and IOSvL2 the same? (except L2 features of course) ?
PS2- I think that is more than just a warning, when I run the simulation after a few minutes it was frozen, and I was unable to connect to he consoles. Thanks
Przemek.
