Hello all,

I am in need of some assistance, im trying to hook up my lab envioriment into VIRL. Im replicating my core, currently need mpls feature sets as close to production as possible; which is why i need to use flat. That being said, let me give you guys the lay of the land.

Real World Gear

ESX1 (Test servers IIS and what not) ---> Port Channel to lab-core ---> Lab Core svi vlan 401 (ATT AVPN) ---> fa0/1 on my 3550 is my egress port to att its set as trunked ect... --->

Virl

ESX2 (VIRL) ----> Vwnic 2 tied to port group flat with no vlanID, Promiscuous mode accepted. ---> Flat on virl egress port is g0/3 ---> G0/3 setup as trunk egress port is g1/0 ---> g1/0 setup as access port on vlan 401 ---> g1/0 is connected to my ATT-CE.

So from fa0/1 to g0/3 on att i cant ping anything, im a bit confused as to this flat integration. Cdp see's the my lab-core, all the virtual switch is doing is well switching no layer 3 tasks are being conducted at the switch. This switch is simply an entrance into my virtual network, I have tried captures its not telling me anything i dont already know though.

What am I missing?

Thank you
Phillip
